Xiaomi Auto under XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) has released an announcement clarifying that in its initial mass production plan, the mass production model of the SU7 Ultra already had sufficient overall performance to take on domestic professional tracks and the Nurburgring, and there was no plan to equip it with a carbon fiber dual air duct front hood. After thorough research and assessment of engineering feasibility, the company decided to respond to user demand by recreating the prototype's perforated front hood design, giving users more styling options. The carbon fiber dual air duct front hood, in addition to replicating the exterior look, also provides partial airflow extraction and auxiliary front compartment cooling functions. Xiaomi Auto apologized for previously unclear communication and decided to take measures including offering a limited-time modification service for undelivered orders, allowing customers to switch back to the aluminum front hood.
