BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) plans to launch a mini electric vehicle (EV) priced over JPY2 million (approximately RMB100,000) in Japan next year, reported Kyodo News. Currently, mini EVs are very popular in Japan, making up about 40% of new car sales there.
