CATHAY PAC AIR (00293.HK) may announce as early as today (6th) plans to purchase more Boeing (BA.US) 777X aircraft, which will be the Company's first order of new aircraft from Boeing in 12 years, Bloomberg quoted sources as saying. The Boeing 777X aircraft has not yet been certified, and its deployment has been delayed by several years compared to expectations.
